I also photographed that wedding reception this past weekend. I got some really nice photos out of it, but I think I need a better camera. Any suggestions? I was thinking Canon 40D, anyone ever use one? I'll post some of my edited photos once I've got them all finished. :D

I know it is my lifelong dream to have one but...I like Nikon D5000. But since you have a Cannon I would suggest the Rebel SXi. From what I hear there is not much difference between the two and the picture is amazing.

BTW a what??? I don't get it either.
When I was buying a new camera I asked Terry Martin for advice, (don't know if you've had him) and he said to spend what you can on a good camera body and then really splurge on the lens. I love my Canon XTI with my 50mm fixed. :)
